I am the principal brains and brawn behind Awexome Labs, through which I build Internet stuff for like-minded people, businesses, woodland creatures, and organizations. I am the not-too-tall co-host of Yet Another Beer Show, a video beer review podcast with a growing audience. I love dogs, but love a woman who’s allergic to dogs more. In fact, she’s my wife! I have traveled a bit, sometimes play bass guitar, grew a beard for a role in a play, and am generally pretty awesome. Some folks used to call me “the funniest man alive,” but now I’m just moderately funny.

I'm a Delco native who has lived in West Philly for about 10 years. Currently, I'm developer at Sunlight Foundation, where we use technology to make the government more transparent and accountable. I focus mainly on influence-related data, such as lobbying and campaign finance. Much of the work involves record-linkage and data collection, with some time spent doing deeper analytics. I have a background in NLP and machine learning, and a foreground in software development and data visualization.
