Kevin Werbach is Associate Professor of Legal Studies at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and the founder of Supernova Group, an independent technology analysis firm. A leading expert on the legal, business, and public policy impacts of the Network Age, he served on the Obama Administration’s Presidential Transition Team, and was as an advisor on broadband issues to the US Federal Communications Commission and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration. He also organizes Supernova, a major annual executive technology conference. Earlier in his career, he served as Editor of Release 1.0, a renowned technology report for investors and senior executives, and as Counsel for New Technology Policy at the FCC, where he helped develop the US Government’s Internet and e-commerce policies.
